How To Download from Rapidshare
A quick and painless step by step guide that explains how Rapidshare works and how to quickly download files from Rapidshare links. Begin simply by copying the Rapidshare link shown above into your web browser's address bar and then click on "Go". You Scroll down to the bottom of the Rapidshare page.

After clicking the FREE button, a second, similar page will load.
Scroll down to the middle of the second page.

For first time users of Rapidshare, you must wait until the 30 seconds more countdown finishes before the last and final step. *Note: After the first 2 to 3 downloads for first time Rapidshare users such as yourself, the countdown wait can go up as high as 75 minutes or more between each downloads. I know this sucks, but thats the deal for "free" Rapidshare use. After the countdown gets to 0, The coundown counter automatically disapears and is replaced by a little code box that you will have to enter codes that are shown and then click the "Download From Mirror" button to begin the download as shown below in "Image 4". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v134/JailWarden/SirParisRapidshareImage5.jpg The file name will appear with a code to begin the download. Type the code exactly how it is provided and then click the "Download From Mirror" button to begin the download. Congratulations! You have just successfully downloaded a file from Rapidshare! __________________________________________________ _______________________________________________
There are few other pointers. Sometimes links go dead. When you go to a Rapidshare link, you get this little grey box pop up as shown below in "Image 6". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v134/JailWarden/SirParisRapidshareImage6.jpg
When you get this message: (File/files204965/bghdt.rar has been deleted. Reason: THIS FILE IS FORBIDDEN TO BE SHARED! Complaints recieved. ) the file is deleted. Rapidshare has programs that are called bots that scour their data base for CopyRighted files and when they find one, or when they actually recieve complaints, they delete the files. Here at Silent Ground, it would be appreciated to have people who find deleted or dead links to politely report them in the same thread/post that you got the dead link from. That helps and facilitates the poster and others be aware of the dead link and they will be more than happy to hunt find an alternative link and post the the new one up for you. I hope this guide and tutorial has helped simplify Rapidshare for you.
